Winter is upon us friends. As we prepare our mind, body, and soul for the cold chill we must think about our natural beautiful hair. Yes! Our hair needs so much moisture now than ever because are ends are very fragile. Maintaining moisture to your hair strands will be uplifting and rewarding; therefore, protect, protect, your natural hair by wearing Two Strand Twists, Kinky Twists, Cornrows, Braids, or Hair Buns. These styles can last from 1 week to 2 months. However, do not neglect your scalp because your scalp will need special treatment whether you use natural oils, co wash, shampoo, or deep conditioner. Love your scalp & hair like you love your body.
Right now, I have box braids in my hair to protect my ends from the cold winter. I moisturize my scalp and braids with the following: distilled water, castor oil, grape seed oil, and coconut oil combine all together and my scalp & hair is in heaven. Metaphorically speaking. It just feels good! LOL!
Happy Holiday!

Almost Fed up with your natural hair?
Don't do it! Don't reach for the perm kit or the flat iron. LOL! I know how you feel and I have been there where I just wanted to put a perm on it because I was frustrated with my hair... for example, detangling my hair or dealing with dry hair. In addition I was constantly in my hair at all times. However, I was able to take a deep breath and -relax, relieve, and rejuvenate my mind, body, and soul. Now that the fall is here I need a break from my own natural hair, whether it’s for 1 week to 2 months.
With protective styling your hands are not in your hair as much, which is a good thing…less friction/ less damage to your hair. Therefore, ladies if you're border line fed up put your natural tresses in a protective styling. For examples, of natural hair protective styling is: 1. Box braids. 2. Corn- Rows. 3. Kinky Twists 4. Two-strand twists. 5. Wigs/Weaves. 6. Up Do's. With each style you rock make sure to moistures your hair and take care of your scalp.
Peace Out and stay true!
